Opinion

 Hi my dear;) And now the CALL course has come to an end. I want to thank everyone who read my blog. I hope many posts are very useful for you and you found something new for yourself like me).
I have looked at many blogs of my groupmates and want to show that each blog is unique in its own way. Everyone has their own style of writing a blog and it’s hard for me to choose one. Therefore, I will tell my girlfriend Katie about the blog.
https://kateerina.blogspot.com

I really liked the blog interface. The colors blend beautifully. Most importantly, all information is written in a very accessible language. Everything is simple and clear, and most importantly informative.
And in conclusion to the whole course, I would like to say that the blogging experience was very useful for me. I learned a lot of new interesting things with which I was pleased to share you.

MALL

MALL - mobile assisted language learning.
I would like to name the basic principles of MALL:

  • to study language across different contexts;
  • learning mobility
  • diversity of learning
  • self-learning opportunity
Based on this, we can conclude that mobile technologies give us a great opportunity to study where you want, when you want and what you want.

QR-code
QR-code (quick response) a pattern of black-and-white squares that is printed on something and that can be read by some types of mobile phone to give information to the user of the phone.

We can use QR codes for educational purposes.

  • Have students use QR to create resumes that link to other content such as their professional website or portfolio.
  • Make Learning StationsPut codes in different areas of the room that will take students to different online activities, videos or content.
  • Have students check their answers by scanning the QR code after completing a test or assignment.
  • You can create QR for linking students to examples of quality work, whether it's PowerPoint or slideshare for a class presentation, or people speaking a foreign language specific to your current lesson.

Quizlet is a card storage service that allows you to learn foreign languages and any other information that can be represented in the form of these cards.

MOOC

WIKI

Hi everyone!) And now I'am  going to talk about Wiki Tools.

WIKI

 Wiki is a web technology used for collaborative publishing on the web. Wiki is a type of server software that allows you to work with data on a remote server on the Web. Users interact with the software through a web interface that lets them read, edit and publish content.

Wikis have a wide range of educational applications, most of which can be combined within one wiki site.
    Foreign Language Teachers can enjoy a range of experimental wiki-based vocabulary-building and writing tasks.

    Teflpedia is a wiki dedicated to everything associated with teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL) or second language (TESL).

    A wiki has an advantage over a newsgroup or a forum—the wiki is continually improved and updated. In contrast, a forum may briefly excite a huge amount of passionate interest with the consequence that it will wander to untenable length and finally be unusable.

    Teflpedia has articles which include advice for new teachers;

    Teflpedia serves as a quick reference providing useful links to an almost infinite number of resources and dedicated websites available on internet.

      I think it's very useful resource, aspecially for future teachers.

    2. Wikia offers a more modern look, has more features and a vast fan base for attracting commercially active communities — Twilight fans, healthy food fans and alike. Less suitable for educational use for incessant advertising on every page of your wiki.

    FANDOM is a global entertainment platform that brings together fans around the world. Here, fans can participate in communities, explore new topics and contribute to the development of pop culture. If you are looking for detailed information about your favorite fandoms, interesting news or trends in the entertainment industry, then FANDOM is the right place to quench your curiosity. Get expert knowledge from other fans and enjoy carefully selected, fun and original content from any device.

    I think this is a useful resource for creative people. And where everyone can contribute to the development of pop culture.

    Server Services

    Servey services
    I would like to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of services in creating testing

    1. MyTextX

    The program consists of three modules: Testing module (MyTestStudent), Test editor (MyTestEditor) and Testing log (MyTestServer).

    MyTestX works with ten types of tasks: single selection, multiple selection, ordering, matching, specifying the truth or falsity of statements, manual number entry, manual text entry, image location, letter transposition, filling gaps

    .
    It is possible to organize and conduct testing, examinations in any educational institutions (universities, colleges, schools) with the goal of identifying the level of knowledge in any academic discipline. Enterprises and organizations can carry out certification of their employees;

    2. Twitter

    Twitter polls allow you to answer questions asked by other Twitter users.  In addition, you can create your own survey.  Current results will be shown immediately.

    You can do it anonymously.

    Disadvantages of this site is that you can't use it offline and if you are not registered there.

    3.
    Google Forms

    With Google Forms, you can not only quickly conduct a survey, but also make a list of guests, collect email addresses for newsletters, and even have a quiz.

    Forms can be easily created, edited and filled out both on a computer and on mobile devices.

    You can find the response statistics, including in the form of a diagram, directly in the form, and the respondents' answers in the automatically generated Google spreadsheet.

    4. Socrative

    Socrative apps are available for download on all major digital devices and platforms. You can use Socrative on smartphones, tablets, laptops, and computers.

    Socrative quizzes are easy to create and download. Create your own and use them as many times as you need. Since they are graded automatically in real time, you’ll spend less time grading assignments and more time catering to the needs of your group.

    From quizzes to polls, create whatever type of activity suits your needs. Shuffle questions, run your activity anonymously, provide instant feedback…it’s up to you!

    It's an example of my own experience in Google Form:
